It was fun revisiting this history with you. The great irony is that Frozen Ghost's only US chart entry was Should I See, which was a song about censorship.
It is. It always amused me that Canadians who couldn't get much traction in the US only did so when singing about hypocrisy, like Rock & Hyde's Dirty Water.
Lots of nostalgic tears today! As soon as the piano at the beginning of “When I’m With You” started Tina burst into tears (in a good way) saying “this little girl loved this song” and then proceeded to sing the whole thing. She’s listening to it again now and I predict I’ll be hearing her sing it all week. She also loved the Alias song. I knew and loved both of these tracks. A great way to start the week!
Excellent post. I've heard some of the band names, but there's no way I could name a song from any. The note thing is very cool.
Thanks Paul! 🫡

Literally listening to that song right now! Freaky…
It’s such an interesting web.

Didn't know any of these. I like how in the video, he's struggling to mimic "the note" and breaks the expression, I think two or three times.
Almost like he’s surprised that he sang it the first time!
Very interesting! I learned a lot as I didn't know any of this.
It’s an unreal story, honestly!
I didn’t think I knew these, but when I clicked the links to listen- I sure do!! Fantastic!
It was on your mental hard drive somewhere!
Sure was!!

Awww, Tina. Glad it was happy nostalgia!
Brings me back. Always love to see it come out at karaoke... never knowing if we are going to get a good version or a not so good version.
Favours the not so good, I bet. 😉
